Check True data/packages by SMS from router (not SSID)

Recommended Posts

I'm using a portable wifi router with True 4G.

There is no SSID facility from the router admin portal in the web browser.

Does anyone have some SMS codes for True that I can use to:

-  check number

-  check balance

-  check data package allowance and expiry

- change service language

etc

Thanks in advance

I'm guessing you meant "USSD", rather than "SSID"? And that you can originate USSD commands and receive the responses? And that you do not wish to put the SIM in a phone (using the True Android app, IVR or USSD)?

I guess the only remaining option would be to use the web interface "iService"? But you may be required to receive a OTP SMS.

What is the make/mode of your portable wifi router?

Yes!  USSD not SSID - Apologies, brain fart when I wrote that.

And yes, prefer not to pull out the sim every time, it means snapping the micro-sim out to put in my mobile, and it just gets bent and stuffed after time

Its a Prolink PRT7008L

I can receive SMS thorugh the web interface, so I will check out the iService, guessing that is on the True site?

Thanks for the feedback mtls2005

Try here whilst connected; http://hlife.truecorp.co.th

Yup that's got it, thanks JamJar

Not very intuitive - first time it opens with a full page advert and no service menu - finally figure out you have to close the advert with a small x

Thanks to all, that's got it now - appreciate the helpful replies!!
