sabian Posted April 18, 2017 Share Posted April 18, 2017 Yep I saw this happen a couple of years ago near me, except the snake was a Monocled Cobra, and the guy was riding toward me as the snake crossed towards him, he was doing about 50km and it still struck fast enough to catch his flip flop, we stopped and had a look a safe distance away, and could see the fang marks in the back of his footwear, they are incredibly fast.
