Sheryl
You do not mention their financial situation, which is important as treatment could be quite costly. Unless they are wealthy I suggest they take the child to this government hospital which specializes in pediatric cases: http://www.childrenhospital.go.th/html/2014/en/our-history Being a government hospital there will be long waits initially (unless it is an emergency) but costs will be about 1/56 what they would otherwise be and quality of care will be good once through the initial screening procedures and seen by the appropriate specialist team. Patience is necessary as the initial screening will likely involve several days and many long waits. If possible they should have a Thai speaker accompany them at least on the first visit, until they know their way around - all the signs and forms re in Thai. That's awfully precise (and cheap), did you mean the cost would be about 1/5 of what they would otherwise be? Sophon

Thank you so much Sheryl. this case called (posterior Fossa arachnoid cyst) they are not so wealthy, just ordinary people, I can arrange the Thai speaking, writing form etc, the only worry is about the long queue, they are in hurry to make this operation as soon as possible, will try how to help by any possible way. Thanks for the reference again,
Sheryl
To have the surgery privately would run at least 1 million baht, maybe more. So best to go where I mentioned. Once the child has been seen, if there is medical urgency the hospital will expedite accordingly.
