My husband was assigned to work in Bangkok and we arrived here from Yangon about a month ago.

 

While living in Yangon, we used to have a domestic helper and a gardener, the latter being the husband of the former.

 

We were thinking of bringing them over to work for us in Bangkok.

 

What are the administrative procedures and the type of work permit that we need to apply in order to bring them over?

Check out this link. You have to sponsor them locally, but it is possible to do under the MOUs between Thailand and Myanmar which provide for different work permit rules than most foreigners.
