Re-entry Permit

Im flying to Cambodia very early on New Years eve and I need to get a re-entry permit, can I get it at the immigration down at sathorn rd? I know I can get it at the airport but it takes 30 mins to process and last time I took this same flight to Cambodia I almost missed the plane so I wanna do it a few days in advance. Im assuming I will just need the usual stuff (2 photos, form and 1,000 baht).
