My METV visa expires on June 29th. Can I still enter Thailand on the 29th or must it be June 28th?

You can enter on the 29th but best to plan on doing it a day early in case you are delayed entering the country.

Thank you. I also just noticed that it's not the expiry date but rather 'enter before'. Does this still apply? Can I still enter on tehi visa ON the 29th?

The wording "ENTER BEFORE" puzzles many travelers.

Indeed you are correct, but these imbeciles don't seem to do anything to verify their statements so we end up with this.

If they had used the more common "expiry date" instead, would questions then arise as to whether that meant on the 29th ( in the case of the O/P) it had expired or that it remained valid on the expiry date but then had expired on the 30th.

Op, maybe so, but 'Puhleeez', why leave this to interpretation  - it clearly says Enter Before 29 June, why take a chance, enter BEFORE  29 June or you might find yourself in a pickle.  All it takes is one hard nosed Immigration Officer at the Airport or border  to ruin your day.
