Delay transfering money to Bangkok Bank account

Featured Replies

Hi!

I have been transferring money from abroad to my account in Bangkok Bank multiple times in the past. Up until now, when I transferred money it took just two days before I could see them in my Bangkok Bank account. However this week, I transferred money on Tuesday morning, but it's now Sunday and the money hasn't arrived in the Thai account yet.

Do anybody know what can be the reason for this delay?

How about calling the bank???

May 10 and 12 were bank holidays in Thailand, that's Wednesday and Friday of last week - expect the funds to hit your account on Monday.

Yeap, weekends and holidays (in sending or receiving country) do not count as transfer business days.   While your money could very well be setting in the Bankgok Bank "inbox" so to speak it still needs that final look by Bangkok Bank personnel before it gets posted to your account.
