Photo: Eakkapop Thongtub PHUKET: -- Police are investigating the death of a 21-year-old man whose motorbike clipped the back of one car then slammed head-on into another car in front of a shadow play performance in central Phuket last night (May 17). Lt Col Sakon Krainara of the Cherng Talay Place was called to the scene, in front of Cherng Talay temple on Sri Soonthorn Rd in Thalang, at 9:10pm. Police arrived with rescue workers to find a Bangkok-registered Toyota Altis with a damaged front end. Nearby on the ground was a damaged red motorbike, and its driver, 21-year-old Anusorn Petpan, lay dead. “Local residents told us that the motorbike was travelling at high speed toward Cherng Talay (town),” Col Sakon said. just.a.thought Posted May 18, 2017 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Consistency in enforcing the traffic rules could save so many lives unfortunately there seems to be a lack of interest.
