LOS ANGELES: -- A group of Thai school children from three provinces have won awards at the "Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2017" held at Los Angeles in the USA.

The young scientists of the future were part of twelve teams taken to compete in the prestigious competition, reported Daily News.

The three successful teams from Lampang, Pathum Thani and Khon Kaen won awards for their work on worm pests, the visible light spectrum and diseases affecting tomatoes respectively.

Suwarong Wongsiri deputy director of the National Science Museum who accompanied the group to the States praised the students for bringing honor to Thailand through their work in science.

Congratulations - more of that please.

Anyway I am afraid they are not very representative for Thai pupils.

no need to end on a negative take-away... what is that about? Though, it's not just you but many on this forum...

Your 1st line is clear and powerful... your 2nd line collapses that into pessimism  and cynicism...
