mat999
I have been using AIS for a while and it seems like a Thai ID (which I do not have) is required to register for extra services like using the points. Anyone know if there is an alternative for foreigners or are we not allowed to use all the AIS services? Thanks.
mat999
In case anyone else was wondering, foreigners are welcome to use AIS points. They are doing it manually over the phone with me. Probably better to visit an AIS store to activate it.
irwinfc
i used some of my points at mcdonald's once and all i needed was my phone. i just punched in the star, numbers, and hash and received a message from AIS which the staff at mcdonald's wrote down. that was it. no fuss whatsoever. i see black canyon also accepts AIS points and i imagine the process to be the same. mtls2005
I think you can register via USSD: *550# SEND, or via SMS OTP. http://www.ais.co.th/points/about click on the box (to the right of the chocolate donut), which will send an OTP to your number It looks like you get 1 point for each 25 baht you top-up, or post-pay.
