One of the four suspects wanted by Khon Kaen police for alleged involvement in the murder and decapitation of a karaoke bar girl was arrested and was being escorted back to Khon Kaen province for questioning.

Pol Col Pongrith Kongsirisombat, superintendent of the 3rd subdivision of the 4th regional police bureau, said Tuesday that Thai police, with the cooperation of their Laotian counterpart, apprehended 25-year old Wasin Namprom at a guesthouse near the Laotian National University in Vientiane.

He added that the suspect was being escorted back to Khon Kaen.

Meanwhile, Khao Suan Kwang district police invited the parents of another suspect, Ms Preeyanut “Preaw” Nonwangchai, for interrogation, concerning the murder and decapitation of Ms Warisa “Am” Klinjuey.

The couple said they had raised Preeyanut since her birth until she grew up and that she had always been gentle.

Looks like a very polite escort, no handcuffs or restraints

Preaw has already admiitted. She did it all on her own. Lets now see if the evidence holds up.

This pair of sleezebags rely on the defence that she decapitated herself.  As is normal that should hold up well in any Thai court.

These boys will walk.

I thought the girl was cut in half, not decapitated.

Yes, cut in half.

I had the displeasure to see the clear images on FB.

No idea why they use "decapitated".

English not a strong point at Thai PBS I'd guess.

Glad to see extradition between Laos and Thailand is quick and easy. Not a drawn out legal battle as in the western countries.

Why does America trade with these people?

Probably for the same reason that most other countries trade with 'these people', please stay on topic.

I sorrowfully add you to the misguided believers of the quality of the RTP.

"The Police working their butts off". Hard work putting in the hours on their smart phones, collecting "insurance" envelopes every month and trying to cover all bases with the missus and the mia nois.
