STB waits for signal.There is a bar underneath with % completed. That is a 0%, and has been for at least 2 hours now. RichCor Posted May 31, 2017 Share Posted May 31, 2017 TV Set Top Boxes generally download 4 components: - Channel decryption provisioning and authentication info - Electronic Program Guide - Channel Lineup (frequency spectrum / channel map) - Device Firmware Device Firmware updates are usually the ones where you cross your fingers and home nothing goes wrong in the process as it's patching or replacing parts of the units operating system and a failure might brick the device. If the progress indicator hasn't moved from 0% after two hours then somethings definitely wrong. The suggestion to call the provider support line is a good one. Sounds like you have a True Visions satellite setup, so yes rain can be an big issue. Hopefully support either resolved the issue for you, or gave you instructions for resetting the box.
