My 12 year old three legged mutt died yesterday afternoon.  I picked her up on the side of the road when she was 1-2 months old and had been hit by a vehicle and had to have her leg amputated.  It didn't phase her and she spent every night jockeying for position next to my pillow with her best friend, a one eyed mutt with severe under bite that can't keep her tongue in her mouth.  I'm not sure who misses her the most, me or her friend as last night  her friend roamed the house looking for her. With the sudden passing of another earlier this year I'm down to only 7 dogs - still have scores of chickens, FIL's, and a number of "wild" cats.

so sorry wayned you have lost another good freind,you gave her a good life where another tried to end it.
