Beware fraudster posing as Prachuap governor on Facebook

Hua Hin online journalist Kulsawek Sawekwannakorn posted that a person using the name Tawin Rissirkul is posing as Prachuap Khiri Khan governor Thawee Narissirikul on Facebook.

 

The account along with the profile and picture of the governor is attempting to con members of the public out of 40-50,000 baht a time.

 

The poster is calling for loans to be paid to a bank account.

 

The governor, who is set to retire at the end of September, said it had nothing to do with him and the matter has been reported to police.
