To stop any ambiguity.  This applies to Khon Kaen Immigration only. (so no, well in mine they want)

Went 0830 this morning required documentation. Out by 0840 with Extension.

TM 7  with photo atrached plus signed extra two pages explaining over stay and you understand what consequences are should you do it.

Passport and relevent photo copies of Passport.

Wife in person plus copies of her tabien and ID card.

Copy of marriage certificate  (took original  but not required).

1900bht.

I asked (and both officers in attendence answered same) DO you require my wife to submit a new TM30 when: 

A. We have been on holiday in Thailand and booked into a hotel or stayed with friends who had declared us to local Immigration.

B. When we have been out of Country on Holiday or to get a new 90 day  Permision to stay stamp ( visa run) Returning with new TM6.

Answer to both questions No not required.. We  only Want new TM 30  if you move address.or you put diffrent address on TM6 when entering again.

Painless and very efficient.

Also picked up an up to date list of required documents for Extension based on Marriage it is however in Thai so will slowly translate it to English and look see if its worth the hassle.
