Hi.

Need some advice on obtaining a tourist visa. I will get my first visa from the UK  in October

extend for 1 month, and then leave  to apply for  my second visa, after the six months are up

 i will leave for the UK. I have been to Penang many times and would like to try somewhere

different. Any suggestions ?.

Vientiane or Savannakhet Laos,  Phnom Penh and  Ho Chi Minh City will all do a single entry tourist visa.

A multiple entry tourist visa that allows unlimited 60 day entries for 6 months is also an option if you can qualify for it is an option.

My suggestion would be Vietnam (either Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi). Yangon (Myanmar), Vientiane and Phnom Penh are other decent options. Yangon needs you to arrangea Myanmar visa. Phnom Penh takes longer or, if using an agent to speed things up, ir more expensive.
