webfact Posted June 22, 2017 Share Posted June 22, 2017 Man collapses to death at Mo Chit BTS By Coconuts Bangkok File photo of Mo Chit BTS: Vedanta Barooah/Flickr BANGKOK: -- A Myanmar national fainted on the platform of the Mo Chit BTS station yesterday and was later pronounced dead at the station after paramedics were unable to save him. The man, identified as 51-year-old Mow Mee, was traveling from Saladang station with two friends. Unexpectedly, he fainted at Mo Chit near exits 3 and 4. BTS station staff rushed to the man’s aid and moved him to the on-site infirmary, where they performed CPR. Mow Mee regained consciousness briefly but fainted again and had died by the time the ambulance had arrived, according to Arnat Apapiron, advisor to the BTS Board of Directors. I will wager the ambulance was stuck in traffic. perhaps if people would get out of the way of an ambulance this could be prevented. Description is one of cardiac arrest. Major blockage of left ventricle, which brought on v fib and then death. It's called a widow maker for good reason. Only 5-10% who have one survive.
