rooster59 Posted June 24, 2017 Share Posted June 24, 2017 Man arrested for using Facebook to organise road races By The Nation Police on Saturday arrested a man in Bangkok’s Bang Bon district for allegedly using his Facebook page to organise road racing by teenagers. Pol Maj-General Surachet Hakpal, commander of the Patrol and Special Operation Division or 191 Police, said Sarawut Plienlertwicha, 27, was arrested at his rented room in Bang Bon early Saturday. The Central Juvenile and Family Court had issued an arrest warrant for him on June 21 on charges of encouraging others to use automobiles to violate the laws without taking into account his own and others’ safety. Surachet said police sought the arrest warrant after they found the Facebook page with the title “Saimob Fungthong” and traced its registration to Surachet.
