June 24, 20179 yr Does anyone know where I can buy ear candles for home use? Closer to the Sathorn area would be good but I don't mind traveling to pick some up. Sent from my iPhone using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
June 24, 20179 yr Excuse my ignorance but what are ear candles? Candles you put in your ears or candles made of ear wax????
June 24, 20179 yr I would be very careful before attempting any medical procedure without a proper medical professional's opinion. Things go wrong.

I know Wikipedia isn't the greatest source, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ear_candling is worth a read. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
June 24, 20179 yr Author Medical procedure? I know Wikipedia isn't the greatest source, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ear_candling is worth a read. It is definitely not a medical procedure. It simply cleans out your ears.Sent from my iPhone using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
June 24, 20179 yr There are lots of warnings about using these things. However, I have never had a problem with them. This goes into it quite a bit. It was already posted though. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ear_candling
June 25, 20179 yr Sorry, but it is a medical procedure, and things go wrong all the time when people try medical these things at home. It is cheap and quick to get your ears cleaned out by a professional at a hospital or ENT clinic. The wax is there for a reason, cleaning them out without supervision may lead to problems. June 27, 20179 yr In the UK several houses a year burn down from ear candles and have even been linked to stomach ulcers. Please be careful if you use them and always after eating.
