1happykamper
At the same time I am moving address I am also buying used car in my new town of Krabi. I understand I will need a certificate of Residence issued my krabi immigration. Then I take this, along with a medical certificate and my passport to land transport to register the car along with the seller of the car. My address is a hotel for a few weeks until I find a house. Will /should the hotel provide me with a tm30 or other proof of my residency there? Thanks. OJAS
The hotel should be handling the TM30 notification requirement directly with Immigration - as they should be with all their non-Thai guests as a matter of routine. But no harm in specifically asking them when and if they will be doing this in your case when you check in. As regards any further proof of address which Immigration might require, I would imagine that your hotel booking confirmation should do the trick.
