Transfer visa stamps to new Passport

Hi, 

 

I have visa under BOI, valid till April, 2018. 

As my passport is full, I will need to renew my passport by this week. 

 

After I receive my new passport, 

1. Should I go to the Chmchuri immigration office (BOI related, one stop service centre), to transfer visa stamp to new PP?

2. or can I do this easily at the airport immigration? 

 

Please let me know if anybody had a similar experience. thanks.

Visas are not transferred by immigration.

If have an extension of stay they will transfer it and other relevant stamps done by them.
