I will soon need to apply for my first extension of my non-O based on marriage. I am aware of the 400.000b in the bank for 2/3 months rule. However, I am not sure which date matters, as to when I will need to apply for the extension. Do I apply 30 days before my visa expires or before my current permission to stay stamp expires? Thanks!

Before your  permit to stay ends. You are extending your permit to stay. Visas are not extended.
