Converting non-o spouse single entry visa to non-o a (retirement) visa

Featured Replies

I am planning to get a non o (Thai spouse) single entry visa, is it possible to convert this to a non o-a (retirement) in Phuket while it is still valid, and what extra documents are required to do this? Would I require to get a police report, medical check etc?

VISAS are availible only outside Thailand, so NO you will NOT NEVER get any Non Immigrant O-A VISA, even if Phuket is the office of "possibilities"..

I guess you are looking for extension of stay based on retirement. And that Sir is NOT a VISA it is an extension of stay...

You will soon get further help..

There is no conversion. You simply apply for an extension of stay based upon retirement during the last 30 days of the 90 day entry from the visa.

No need for a medical or police clearance to apply for an extension.

A letter from the bank confirming your account and at least 800k baht in it. Copies of your bank book to prove it has been in the bank for 60 days on the date you apply.

Copies of passport photo page, visa, entry stamp and TM6 departure card.
