GLO apologizes for wording error on lottery tickets

The Government Lottery Office (GLO) has offered an apology for the use of wrong words, both Thai and English, to describe two tapirs which were printed on the lottery tickets for the July 16 draw.

Thai lottery tickets are printed with educational illustration such as animals, Thai desserts, and Thai traditional arts. The July 16 tickets go with tapir illustration.

However, the GLO described the tapir as “Hybrid animals” or “Sat Pasom” in Thai.

Admin of an animal-lover Facebook page “Sarapansat” noticed the error, saying tapir is a pure breed, not hybrid animals.

I have been in Pattaya now a few days and am ready to go home !! I have been in such a panic and anxiety I have lost my glasses and can't see properly without them , I have had to lodge complaint with the hotel I am staying at . I took my glasses in my pocket to the hotel swimming pool , when I got there they were missing, it seems I may have lost them on the way waking there or the way back to my room. First time I have heard proteins and fats are reduced to sugars. Nice to know chemistry is being rewritten. It's the amount of consumption AND the type of consumption. He suggested I get one years ago but says it has become far stricker now which to be honest is a good thing. Many foreigners here can get their thai wives to do this but they would need to show evidence of why they would need one and I expect many wives are not working and on Tiktok most the day.
