Just a simple question... when you go for a non imm B visa, do they actively contact and question the employer who has given you the letter?

If so, what do they do if the workplace is closed?

Just wondering how the process evolves.

That's why you have to leave your passport with the visa people overnight (or longer).

They may not check everyone, but if you put in a moody letter, be sure it is the one that will be checked - Sod's Law.
