Fast check-in for y-class TG international departure

With my advanced age of 74 I have problems to stand a long time in a queue for check-in at Suvarnabhumi (I can walk but slowly so I am reluctant to ask for a wheelchair)

At my last international flight with TG there was an unpleasant and long check-in line for Y-class passengers.

Has Suvarnabhumi a fast track channel for the check-in of elderly passengers (I will gladly pay for it)

Call your airline and ask for wheelchair service.  It's free!  Don't be shy.  If you need it, you need it.

Or, you can pay for the expedited service.  It's not that much money.

Pay : to who ?

I don't have the details.  Hopefully somebody will come on that does.  But I've heard you can hire a company to help expedite you through the process at Swampy.  Most I know do it upon arrival to avoid the immigration queue.  They meet you at the gate and take you to a special counter.

400 THB + 100 delivery and most times you wont even have to hand it over just have it in case you are asked. Go Premium Lane swampy and international only.

thanks but the Fasttrackcoupon is to go through Immigration only while I try to avoid the check-in line at TG counter before going to Immigration

I would follow Crossys advice and use the online check-in, usually far shorter queues to drop off your bags, if there still is a long queue I would ask one of the staff managing the queue for help.

The Immigration Queue is a good point though, but I wouldn't pay for a Fast Track ticket though, those over 70 are allowed to use the Fast Track Lane for free.

Not about check-in but probably useful if the immigration queue is long?

Citizens over 70 years are entitled to use the priority lane on departure.

Do you fly with Thai Airways?

You could try to contact them for special assistance.

(although I would not like be carted in a wheelchair)
