Police check for Thailand only?

Featured Replies

I'm applying for a position outside of Thailand. Something I'm supposed to start next week and no time to wait for international.

Is this possible? If so, how to go about it?

You can get a police clearance certificate for Thailand. Info is here: http://www.pcscenter.sb.police.go.th/eng/

I don't think you will be able to get one by next week. The normal procedure can take up to a month to get one. On the website they have have button for getting one faster  by outsource, Button takes your here: https://www.a-plusservice.com/

Thanks Ubon, I was under the impression this is an international check. Part of the reason it takes so long.

The only international check would probably be with Interpol for wants and warrants.

I think the reason for it taking a long time is the volume and the number of people they have doing it.

I went to have this done and they said it wasn't possible unless it was by request of an employer in Thailand...

Is there somewhere special I need to go?

They should accept the request of a company outside of Thailand.

It will cost you more but you could check with the outsource company I posted a link to may be able to get around it.

What CRC does the Thai Embassy want in Vientiane, Laos for a Non-O (purpose retirement)if you're in Thailand? From their website:

 resume
Certificate of income of not less than 65,000 baht per month from the embassy / consulate of the country of residence or a letter from a bank in Thailand showing financial status of not less than 800,000 baht and in the bank account no less. Over 3 months
Evidence of criminal background checks from a country of residence
    Medical certificate

Note: Applicants must not be a prohibited person. Or a prohibited disease into the Kingdom of Thailand. And this type of visa is not allowed to work in Thailand.

That is really for a Laotian to get a OA visa but they are asking for part of it to get a single entry non-o.

The will accept a Thai police clearance certificate and simple low cost medical done here also.

Plus financial proof. The want a bank letter along with the bank book for the 800 baht in the bank option.
