Police Criminal Clearance Check for Australian Citizen in Thailand

I need to get a Police Check done to apply for a teaching position in Chiangmai. Can anyone please advise the easiest & least expensive way to get one.

 

I have already asked this question on one of the FB  teaching groups but nothing concrete back as yet.

For a Thai police clearance the only way to get one is at the police clearance service center in Bangkok. See here for info: http://www.pcscenter.sb.police.go.th/eng/

There is a button on the left side of the page that says "By Outsource" on it that costs more than the normal 100 baht fee.

Use National Crime Check, which is on-line, for an Australian police check.  It is acceptable for Thai visas at Thai embassy in Australia.

If you need a Thai police clearance and you need it quickly (than the 4-6 weeks standard), you can use the services of a 'Service Provider' in Bangkok. I needed it done in a week and used one that got it to me in a few days - if I recall it was about 2000 baht. If needed PM me and I will send you her details.

I needed one for a Non B Teaching job last year. Thai police clearance check, not Australian. The school took 3 of us to the local Police station in Chonburi. It was all done in a couple of hours.
