webfact Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Panel keeps GDP growth pegged at 3.5-4% this year By The Nation BANGKOK: -- The Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking on Tuesday maintained its forecast for gross domestic product growth this year at 3.5-4 per cent, in line with its cautious stance on economic expansion this year. The committee has maintained its forecast the export sector will expand 3.5-4.5 per cent, after expanding 7.8 per cent in the first six months. However it warned that low price of agricultural products and weakening industrial sector sentiment could restrict domestic spending in the second half of the year.
