Beautiful but big !!

Featured Replies

Found this beauty in our chicken house this morning.... Approx 3-4m in length.. Not sure if its eaten anything, trying to do a head count now :)

Guess I'll have to clean around it until the snake man arrives ?

Wish I knew how to handle them !!

When I managed to get it to depart from its meal, it was in fact 4m long...

Sure it will be back for its snack later...

Delighted to see the snake released into natural woodland .  I have always had a fear of snakes , but hardly ever see one , I'm always concerned for their safety I would never hurt one unless attacked .  I have lived in Cornwall many years and grew up on Cornish Pasties , I can make very good ones myself if I have the right ingredients .  I would like to bring your Avatar to life and eat it .

If it were sitting on the jungle floor rather than that blue basket, you would never see it until too late

Your a braver man than me cornishcarlos, i would have run away.

Wow, that is one serious snake!

Where do you live?

And just wondering...

Do they have a way of getting back to a distant location they have been to before?

You mean "Is it a homing snake"  lol

I'm hoping there are enough chicken pens in between me and the National park to distract it and keep it full !!

You can find the ingredients in LoS, though I suppose that depends whereabouts you are. Even swede, though Villa seems to have failed to stock up, in which case, parsnip or turnip.

Great story and sympathy/empathy for all creatures great and small. If that had turned up in my village, the corner noodle shop would have quickly added it to the menu.

Voracious appetite those... lost 4 cats to those. At the fifth cat attack, i was at home and could save cat and snake. Now hopefully far away.
