BANGKOK: -- A committee has been set up to conduct a disciplinary investigation on Maj Gen Jaroon Ampa and four other officers attached to the Royal Thai Armed Forces (RTARF) headquarters in connection with the abduction for ransom of businessmen, Gen Surapong Suwana-adth, the supreme commander, said on Monday (Aug 14).

To be investigated are Maj Gen Jaroon and four non-commissioned officers attached to the Provost Marshal General’s Department.

A committee has been set up

This must be in the military manual as step #1, Set up a committee.

If it's really nasty set up a hole slew of committees (see also NRSA).
