I need a qualified electrical contractor to do a s full safety survey on my house near Sattahip. Any ideas where I may find one I can trust to do the job and issue an appropriate safety certificate or similar. ? 

To be honest the chances of finding a qualified Thai sparks who is prepared to do domestic work is pretty close to zero. This forum exists for exactly this reason.

 

There are certainly board members with certs from assorted countries who may be prepared to give your place the once-over, hopefully someone in your area will post here.

 

In reality a good look around and a dose of common sense will see you through. Take and post photos of anything you think is iffy.

Look for:- 3-pin outlets, grounds on water heaters, a decent ground rod and an RCD (Safe-T-Cut).
