webfact Posted August 16, 2017 Share Posted August 16, 2017 MRTA: construction of 4 mass rapid lines go as planned BANGKOK, 16 August 2017 (NNT) – The Mass Rapid Transit Authority (MRTA) of Thailand confirms that all constructions for the four mass rapid lines had proceeded as planned. MRTA Acting Governor Theeraphan Techasirinukul disclosed that the MRTA has been implementing the construction project of the four mass rapid lines. Constructions for the MRTA Blue Line Extension Project - Hua Lamphong - Bang Khae and Bang Sue - Tha Phra progressed by 94.62 percent, while the Hua Lamphong - Bang Khae session is scheduled to be ready for service in 2019 and the Bang Sue - Tha Phra session will be ready for service in 2020, he said. The MRTA Green Line (Bang Sue-Samut Prakan) project is 100 percent complete and is scheduled to be open in 2018, while the Mo Chit - Saphan Mai – Khoo Kot mass rapid line project has progressed by 39.07 percent and will be ready for service in 2020, said the MRTA Acting Governor. He also said that constructions for the MRTA Orange Line Project (Cultural Center of Thailand - Min Buri) had begun with a 1.40 percent completion, as the Orange line is scheduled to be ready in 2023. -- nnt 2017-08-16 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
