Police yesterday (Aug 15) discovered more evidence that they suspected might be linked to the missing female official of a Tambon Administration Organisation (TAO) in Si Sa Ket province on July 3 this year.

The finding of woman shoes, burnt woman dresses and a damaged car part near the Plarn Sua forest in Nam Yuen district of Ubon Ratchathani came after police and local people combed the area throughout the day as they suspected there might have some clues to the disappearance of Ms Jutaporn Oun-orn, 37, a senior education official at Cham Tambon Administration Organisation (TAO).

The area which is adjacent to the military restricted area is where police investigation showed her last mobile phone signal was detected before she went missing.

The mobile signal showed she was there for three hours.

Moreover police said only those who are familiar with the area could access the place as it is close to the military area.

The part, which the search team found is from the lower part of a car,  has scratches believed caused by rocks as it contacted with rough surface, police said.

The police said the new evidence will be examined by forensic police today.
