Featured Replies

Thank you

He could get a single entry non-o visa based upon marriage to a Thai that will allow a 90 day entry. Then get a 60 day extension of the entry to visit his wife at an immigration office.

Thank you Ubonjoe I will pass this info on to him

In anticipation of his questions;

He lives in Preston so I think he would be better going to Hull for the Visa?

He applies for and gets the Visa based on being married to his Thai lady wife  and then maybe 2 days before expiration he would apply to Thai immigration for the 60 day extension?  (He has a house in BanSare near Pattaya)

Thank you once again for your help

Hull can issue a single entry non-o visa based upon marriage.

He could apply for the 60 day extension at Jomtien immigration during the last couple of weeks ot the 90 day entry from the visa (not the visas expiration date).

need to pre apply for single entry non 'o' 'marriage' visa at Hull, and then collect in person after approval by London.

But they can issue them. Just send the paperwork by email to Hull for approval. Probably quicker and easier than sending them by mail to the embassy.

I used to apply for my extension just a few weeks into my trip. Never was turned down. Maybe different now?
