China relaunches world's fastest train

China's fleet of high-speed trains is set once again to become the world's fastest.

The top speed of the Fuxing or "rejuvenation" bullet trains was capped at 300km/h (186mph) in 2011 following two crashes that killed 40 people.

From next week, some of the trains will once again be allowed to run at a higher speed of about 350 km/h.

Counties such as Japan or France test their trains for safety before adding it to transport system but China test trains safeties while they are already in use by people then they show the safety result. ????

more faster, more deaths.

Fact is China over last two decades have gone from nowhere to having more HSTs than any other nation and miles of high speed line, not to be sneered at TBH

meanwhile the UK is still arguing the to$$ over HS2 etc, yes Japan have always done well and now nearly have Maglev cracked and viable with modern new age technology of recent years

It's not surprising. Have they ever considered the safety and well-being of their own people? I think not.

From the country which can't make basic functional hardware-store items.  Even making a workable ball point pen took them many years, .....and that was while they were reverse-engineering working pens from farang countries.

'the faster the train runs, the faster it crashes.'
