A man accused of killing a 23-year-old woman in a motel room in Samut Sakhon province’s Ban Phaeo district late on Tuesday night surrendered to police on Wednesday afternoon. The body was found pool of blood with indications of strangling on the neck.

Farmer Sornram Phao-eiumchin, also 23, who was accompanied by his mother and a village headman, claimed that he befriended the victim via Facebook over two days before they met for dinner and went to the motel together. He claimed that they had consensual sex but the woman developed a seizure so he put clothes on her and fled home without knowing if she were alive or dead.

He claimed that he didn’t assault or strangle her. After learning of her death, he consulted with his family and arranged the surrender.

Hotel employee Thanawat Tonpho, 35, told police that the woman had arrived with a man on a motorcycle at 11.25pm.

Thanawat said the man paid for the room and led the woman inside, although she appeared to hesitate and was heard to say that she would like to go home. About 30 minutes later, the man came out alone and rode away on his motorcycle.

When the man did not return, Thanawat knocked on the door of the room, but no one answered. He then opened the door and found the body.

Usually when someone has a seizure you call an ambulance.

A few extra years in prison for pathetic excuses.

Thai male murders female in hotel room.

Unfortunately, it is quite common here nowadays.

Years ago, things like this in the press used to shock me.

30 minutes for undressing, consensual sex, a seizure and dressing the body? :giggle:

A guy had a seizure 2 weeks ago in the middle of Mochit. He didn't die.

Edit after learning of her death he consulted with his family to concoct this lame ass story.

My My the place is full of liars.

He will probably not have the time to become friends with the cell mate who serves 10 years for selling E-cigarettes.

Lying in a pool of blood with indication of strangulation after a seizure .......................I want my mum !   The staff at the motel were on the ball , got the bastard.

Welcome to Lieland

Could there be some vital information missing here, neither seizures nor strangulations tend to cause a pool of blood afaik?
