Advice To Avoid Chaeng Wattana Immigration Tomorrow August 25th

I am sure that most people are aware that the Supreme Court will read their verdict Friday. The court is located within the government complex so there might be problems getting to immigration.

I need to get re-entry permits for my wife and son and had planned on doing it tomorrow. Having 2nd thoughts now. Can I get them at Lad Prao instead? Do my wife and son need to be present?

You can only get a re-entry permit at Chaeng Wattana. If leaving from either airport in Bangkok they can be obtained on departure from the country.

You should be able to do the application for them but your wife will have to sign the TM8 form before you go.

BBC has just reported the Court will issue an arrest warrant for Yingluck as she failed to appear for the verdict.

So it may well kick-off shortly.
