Late submission for Educational Visa

Featured Replies

Hello,

Due to a mishap at my college, I might be a few days late in presenting my documents (for the second time) for my Ed Visa.

Will this nullify it or will I be asked to pay overstay on it when it is presented?

   Any advice gratefully received.

Cheers.

I assume you mean an extension of stay not a visa. If you were applying for a visa at an embassy or consulate you would not be on an overstay when you applied for it.

If it is only a couple of days late it probably would not be a problem.

Yes Joe, it is an extension of stay, I'd like to know for certain if possible, if it is nullified I might as well head out of the Kindgom.

How many days were you late before?

If it was the colleges fault they somebody should be with you to explain what went wrong.

There should not be any problem but. If they denied the extension they would give you 7 days to leave the country after you paid the overstay find and the 1900 baht for the extension.
