Cop Cleared Of Wrongdoing For Marrying Boyfriend

AYUTTHAYA — A disciplinary inquiry has cleared a policeman in Ayutthaya province of wrongdoing for the invitations he sent for his same-sex wedding.

 

Three months after he was placed under investigation following his marriage, Lance Cpl. Thanadet Sukthawinand said Wednesday that he had been cleared without further repercussion.

True, I will correct my error, was distracted at the first comment, it is a bloody shame the BIB even started an investigation just because a copper handed out an invitation for his same sex marriage, an utter disgrace. Luckily someone agreed and put a stop to it.

I have a feeling that if there is a definition of "marriage" somewhere in Thai law, the words marry, marriage and wedding are used quite loosely in the news report.

it's not an anti-gay joke, the same kind of jokes are also made about straight people when the opportunity arises.

it's the principle of a joke that some party in the joke is being ridiculed or a stereotype exploited... so I guess you would consider any joke offensive.

It's rather useless to discuss jokes with persons without humour or who are overly PC.

Black folks often say white folks smell like wet dogs.

 

Maybe one day, when whites are the oppressed minority, they can get all outraged over it.  But for now, they just seem to laugh it off.
