Man shot dead by federal agents in Minneapolis

ICE agents shot 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti in the chest during chaotic Minneapolis protests! The explosive incident was caught on video, showing violent clashes between agents and protesters. Voices rang out as gunfire cracked the tense standoff, leaving residents shocked and outraged.

Alex Pretti, a kind-hearted ICU nurse, tragically became the latest victim in a boiling conflict with ICE. Pretti's death sent shockwaves through the community. Friends and colleagues mourned him as a compassionate hero devoted to helping critically ill veterans. Minnesota’s Governor Tim Walz slammed ICE for their aggressive actions, declaring the officers “violent” and demanding they leave the state immediately.

Shockingly, a US law enforcement officer reportedly had a finger bitten off by a protester during the mayhem. US Homeland Security claims tempers flared as protesters “obstructed and assaulted” officers on the scene. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin fired off on social media, declaring, “He will lose his finger,” amidst the uproar.

What’s next for Minneapolis? The aftermath has left residents questioning future protests and law enforcement strategies. National and local authorities are on high alert as tensions threaten to escalate even further.

Key Takeaways

  • ICE agents shoot ICU nurse Alex Pretti amid Minneapolis chaos!

  • Law enforcement officer loses finger in violent protest clash!

  • Governor Walz demands ICE’s immediate exit from Minnesota!

No, they are not gun happy.

But protesters are pushing their luck.

To paraphrase Firearms expert John Farnham, all folks who carry a gun lawfully and responsibly must follow the rule of stupid:

When you are carrying, don't:
1. Go to stupid places (an anti ICE riot or an after hours club)
2. With stupid people (or where stupid people congregate) (Agitiators, anarchists, criminal abettors or drug dealers and gangbangers)
3. At stupid times (an anti ICE riot or at 4am)
4. To do stupid things. (interfere with Law Enforcement or to meet a hooker)

Tragic as this was, the dude brought it on himself.

It is worth noting, that virtually every ICE incident reported is negative, and involves "protestors" interfering.

I've watched other ICE videos on Youtube.

Usually, the ICE are acting professionally and doing their jobs calmly. But the protesters are the ones stirring sh&t.

We only saw the worst case incidents where things got out of control.

So you beleive that a lawful gun owner carrying a gun is a responsible gun owner when he intentionally puts himself in a stupid situation?

You have never owned or carried one, thank god. I had a client named Kier 40 years who thought the same way until he saw the bill for legal services rendered.

So they come in after the "resistance" riots.

The only riots were made by ICE agents.

Your and MAGA logic:

Demonstrating against Trump = riot.

Rioting in front of the white house = peaceful demonstrators.

Over the past 24 hours, the president has shifted his messaging, as he tries to come to grips with a public mood that is rapidly souring on his immigration policies, writes our North America correspondent Anthony Zurcher.

Breaking news.......

Faced with broad outcry over the killing of a protester on Sunday in Minneapolis, the White House tried today to distance United States President Donald Trump from the response of his most senior officials, who had immediately characterised the man fatally shot by federal agents as a “domestic terrorist” who was “brandishing” a gun, before video evidence undercut their charges.

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, notably did not defend the rhetoric of White House officials, including Stephen Miller, the deputy chief of staff, and Kristi Noem, the Homeland Security Secretary, who were the most vocal in spreading false accusations against the victim, Alex Pretti.

Pretti was shot roughly 10 times by immigration agents after he was apparently filming them with his camera.

He was licenced to carry a gun in Minnesota, but video from several angles shows he never pulled one, and his hands were visible as he was shot in the back.

Also the Administration was planning to move Gregory Bovino, a Border Patrol official whose harsh tactics have drawn sharp criticism, out of the city, he had been one of the first to deliver what turned out to be false information about Pretti, but the White House refused to acknowledge that his statements, and others from different top officials, were contradicted by the video evidence.

In conclusion.........lies from the trump team and from Bovino, but Taco trump is "distancing" himself from the furore over this, after all it is his "stock in trade" response!

You hard core supporters tend to not look at facts, but it seems even the supreme leader is seeing things in a different way after the backlash over the killings in Minnesota. From NBC news.

That's a completely stupid theory.

He won the election and has no need to get revenge on states that didn't vote for him.

The opposite is much more likely. States that lost might be looking to make life hard for Trump.

It's the disenfranchised that usually cause the most problems.

No need to get revenge really?

Dear Leader himself seems to think there is — in fact it's one of those rare election promises he has kept.....

Oh yeah, the bookkeeping charges where he recorded payments to his lawyer as legal fees.

That lawfare helped get him elected.

There was no lawfare involved. Thats just a made up overused phrase that ignorant people like to throw out so they dont have to provide facts. It was trump repeatedly breaking more laws than you like to claim.

It really seems to be true that you never let evidence and facts interfere with your opinions.

So thats why he's worked so hard to gerrymander voting district mapping in his favor in so many states for the mid term elections? Hahaha

I just cannot understand the arguments. Yes, the death is tragic and should never have happened. But on the other hand, if I see police officers or any officials well armed, trying to grab hold of a person on the road, will I go over to them, carrying a firearm, and try to prevent them from doing their job or by putting myself between the officers and the person being apprehended ?

And ICE operations were always around, long before Trump. But the leftist woke extremists never used to fuss that much ? Yes the death is very tragic et must not happen. But one cannot, but duly consider that the victim did put himself to high risk in getting into a physical contact with the officers. I don't like the bully attitude of Trump. But he is doing what those before him never were inclined - that is to not allow all the illegals either entert or to remain.

Europe will surely meet with similar fate as Europe is dooming it's western nations in allowin all the illegals to enter and remain and some that commit heinous crimes. This leads to people getting fed up and having moderate voters, go for extreme leaders like Trump or a few others in office, around the world.
