Russia Warns UK Over Drones Used in Attacks on Russia

Russia has warned the United Kingdom of “consequences” after confirming that British-made drones were used in strikes on targets in Russia, accusing London of escalating the war.

Russian Embassy Accuses UK Of Escalation

The Russian Embassy in London said Britain had “deliberately opted for an escalation” following reports that the drones were employed in attacks inside Russian territory. In a statement, it said the UK was acting as an “accomplice and co-perpetrator” of what it described as “crimes and terrorist attacks”.

The embassy added that the UK would have to respond for its actions, warning that the more it became involved in the conflict, the higher the “price” it would face.

UK Says It Stands With Ukraine

Responding to the allegations, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) told BBC News that Britain would stand “shoulder to shoulder” with Ukraine. The spokesperson said Russia should have no doubt about the UK government’s determination to oppose Russian aggression both in Ukraine and against the UK and its allies.

The spokesperson also said the UK was committed to supplying Ukraine with the equipment it needs to defend itself against Vladimir Putin’s “illegal invasion”.

Drones Used Against Military And Industrial Targets

The drones cited by Russia were built by two separate British companies. They have been used inside Russia in what the text describes as widespread targeting of military and industrial sites, including refineries and warehouses linked to Wildberries, an online retailer.

Ukraine has said it repeatedly targeted the company, known as Russia’s version of Amazon. It claims that seven out of 10 of the largest Wildberries logistics centres have been “disabled”. A military source told the BBC that UK drones were used in the attacks, which are said to have caused more than £35bn in economic damage.

Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said drones using UK components and configurations were used to strike Russian territory, including a fuel depot in the Kamensky District of the Rostov Region.

Wave Of Strikes Follow Previous Attacks

The warning comes amid a period of Ukrainian strikes on Russia. In the latest overnight attacks, Russian officials said about 620 drones were launched towards the area around Moscow. They reported that air defences destroyed more than 180 of the devices, while some people were wounded.

Officials said an attack the previous night killed nine people and injured 23, including a child. On Saturday night, Ukraine fired about 822 drones towards Russia, according to a regional governor, who said around 600 were aimed at Moscow and that the capital suffered “one of the most massive drone attacks in recent memory”. Seven deaths were reported across Russia.

On the same night, Russian strikes on Ukraine killed at least seven people and injured more than 39.

MoD Announces Large Drone Supply To Ukraine

In April, the UK MoD said it would provide Ukraine with tens of thousands of drones, including long-range strike systems, as its biggest package to date.

This should make thing interesting.

"Russia has begun receiving the Hwasong-11C (KN-30), one of North Korea's more advanced ballistic missiles.
According to HUR, Pyongyang has also sent about 90 technical personnel to Russia's Voronezh region to help operate and maintain up to six launcher systems. The KN-30 has a range of 600–900 km and can carry a warhead weighing up to 2.5 tons."

-https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/defence/international/russia-gets-north-koreas-kn-30-with-claimed-2-5-tonne-warhead-amid-deepening-military-cooperation/articleshow/133410172.cms

That should get the Pro-Ukrainian side to lose their minds about North Korea's involvement in the SMO, all the while ignoring the hypocrisy of cheering the US/UK/EU as they collectively send billions of dollars of weapons to be launched into Russia. However, in my opinion it makes it clearer to understand the breakdown of what countries are allied with whom. I fully expect the various regional conflicts in the world to finally boil over into world war. A lot of people in the West are itching for a good war. Me? I believe in trade, not war. But in the West, "War" is pretty much a Trillion dollar industry. No war, no revenues and profits. So wars forever it seems to be.

Ukraine INTENTIONALLY murders civilians pretty much every day.

Anyone who follows the details of this war knows that fact.

Since 2014 they have been indiscriminately shelling civilian infrastructure in the Donbas.

Their drones which tragically civilians can't current defend against are packed to the brim with explosive. Intention -- MURDER of civilians.

Of the course the Banderite-Neo-Nazis, pro terrorism propaganda monkey are going to practice the oldest propaganda tool in the book. Deflect what you are doing by accusing the opposition of doing what you are doing.

I guess some low information people who only read Western media sources fall for such tricks, such as supporting a new breed of Nazism that seeks to erase all vestiges of Russian language, culture, and religion from Eastern Ukraine. This is called "Democracy" by Ukraine's supporters.

Have you forgot when

Have you forgotten that according to United Nations monitoring data, cross-border shelling, missile strikes, and drone warfare killed 253 civilians and injured 1,872 inside the Russian Federation in 2025, with an additional 250 civilian deaths reported in the first six months of 2026?

https://ukraine.ohchr.org/en/2025-deadliest-year-for-civilians-in-Ukraine-since-2022-UN-human-rights-monitors-find

The most prominent instances of attacks on Russian civilians and civilian areas linked to Ukraine include:

1. Mass-Casualty Missile and Artillery Strikes

  • Belgorod City Center Strike (December 30, 2023): A heavy rocket and missile strike hit the center of Belgorod. The attack killed 25 civilians (including four children) and injured over 100 others at a public ice rink and shopping area.

  • Sevastopol Beach Strike, Crimea (June 23, 2024): A Ukrainian ATACMS missile strike caused explosive cluster submunitions to rain down on a crowded public beach in Uchkuevka. The incident killed 4 civilians (including two children) and injured 151 others.

  • Arkhipo-Osipovka Beach Strike, Krasnodar (August 2026): A long-range Ukrainian drone hit a crowded beach resort area in southern Russia. The explosion and debris resulted in multiple civilian deaths and injuries.

2. High-Profile Targeted Assassinations

The Russian government has attributed several bombings targeting prominent pro-war public figures on Russian soil to Ukrainian intelligence services (SBU/GUR):

  • Darya Dugina Assassination (August 2022): The journalist and daughter of prominent Russian nationalist philosopher Aleksandr Dugin was killed by a remote-controlled car bomb outside Moscow. US intelligence officials later attributed the operation to elements within the Ukrainian government.

  • Vladlen Tatarsky Bombing (April 2023): Pro-war military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomin) was killed when a statuette packed with explosives detonated at a political event in a St. Petersburg cafe. The explosion injured 42 civilian attendees.

  • Zakhar Prilepin Car Bombing (May 2023): Prominent Russian nationalist writer Zakhar Prilepin was severely wounded, and his driver was killed, when an anti-tank mine exploded under his vehicle in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

3. Cross-Border Ground Raids & Incursions

Armed incursions by Ukraine-backed paramilitary groups—primarily the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) and Freedom of Russia Legion—have resulted in localized civilian casualties during ground operations:

  • Bryansk Oblast Raid (March 2023): A cross-border ground assault in the villages of Lyubechane and Sushany resulted in the deaths of 2 civilian motorists and the injury of a child.

  • Belgorod Oblast Incursions (May–June 2023 / March 2024): Heavy paramilitary incursions into towns like Shebekino and Grayvoron involved intense artillery preparations. Local authorities reported that over 15 civilians were killed during the chaotic evacuation and fighting periods.

  • Kursk Oblast Incursion (August 2024–2026): Ukraine's regular military cross-border offensive into the Kursk region resulted in localized civilian infrastructure damage and initial civilian casualties during the opening days of the breakthrough, forcing the evacuation of over 120,000 residents.

4. Long-Range Moscow Drone Strikes (May–July 2023 / August 2026)

  • A series of loitering munition waves targeted the Russian capital, striking the Kremlin roof, the Moscow City financial district, and residential areas in the Chekhov Municipal District. While primarily aimed at psychological disruption and military control centers, building impacts and falling intercepted debris caused sporadic civilian injuries and minor fatalities over multiple waves.

Oh the dishonest presentation of the report you linked! 🤣🤣🤣

On the first page, third paragraph it is written:

"The vast majority of casualties verified by HRMMU in 2025 occurred in government-controlled territory from attacks launched by Russian armed forces (97 per cent; 2,395 killed and 11,751 injured)."

I bet those Russian-lovers (probably paid) creatures on this forum, are the same who voted Trump to power, the MAGA-cult, who again show no knowledge of what the truth and situation are in Europe, and who is the real threat to Europeans. It's not Ukraine, that's for sure.

This forum has become something completely different than it once was. And I don't mean that in a positive way.

I'm embarrassed reading some of these posts.

To Ukrainians, and to my friends in Ukraine, I can only say I'm sorry you have to see this Russian propaganda.

Soon the Ukrainian last line of hardened defences will fall and perhaps Putin will push all the way to Kiev ? very little would remain to stop the advance if he wanted to.

Was it not the UK under Starmer who in the first place prevented the initial attempt of the peace treaty that was agreed by both parties (Ukraine and Russia). The UK is plainly ruining it's economy just to entertain a few lobbys of arms traders and oil companies who are minting money, whilst the rest of the UK population is sufferring more and more like the retirees under state pensions for instance.

They've been trying to take the whole of Ukraine since 2022. They failed to take Kyiv after the Ukrainians made their own airport inoperable.

Now they're stuck in eastern Ukraine, their military vastly outnumbering the Ukrainians, but they're unable to advance.

So all they can do is bomb Ukrainian infrastructure and civilian buildings. As they did in Syria. An oaf with a club, battering anything ht sees.

What a disgrace for a ' civilization'.

If only Musk would let Ukraine use his Starlink system to bomb the Russian ballistic missile bases.

I believe it was a one/two Emmanuel Macron and Boris Johnson ploy that fooled Putin into withdrawing his troops from around Kiev to 'show good faith' so the 'peace deal' could be signed and consecutively convincing Zelensky to fight on as he had the backing of NATO/EU/US. ( to fight to the last Ukrainian)

In any case the peace deal was only ever a stop gap so that NATO could try ramping up their military output which has failed spectacularly..not least because they have shunned cheap Russian oil and gas, gone full on net zero idiots and decimated what was left of their industrial base.

No, they were not allowed to attack Russia.

It was only when Trump withdrew all support that Ukraine realised it could attack the Russian bases.

But up till now Musk won't allow his Starlink system to locate Russian ballistic missile bases

So what?
Politicians are bought and paid for whores by big industry - inc. the Military Industrial Complex.
