Somewhat similar ideology to the Christian death cult, Aum Shinryko, which plotted to conduct attacks in Japan using biological and nerve agents (succeeded on the Tokyo underground, failed in their attempts on mass Botulinum toxin release around the place in Kyoto, and Anthrax release over most of Tokyo), in order to provoke WW3, and rebuild Japan from the ashes.

According to PROPER, some members of the group who would participate in the attack began communicating with one another in or around March 2026 via a TikTok group called “Vanguard of the Old.” The members of the group stated that they wanted to protect the United States, which they believed was headed in the wrong direction. Members of the group believed that the United States needed to be torn down so that it could be rebuilt. Some expressed a desire that people who were involved with Jeffrey Epstein should not govern the country.

The group is alleged to have subscribed to what court documents and law enforcement sources describe as a far-right “accelerationist” ideology, one they shared in a TikTok group called “Vanguard of the Old” before migrating to Signal and a SimpleX chatroom titled “Vanguard of the Old Republic.” Their stated grievances were eclectic: government corruption, the Epstein files, data centers consuming local water supplies. The eclecticism is itself diagnostic. Accelerationist recruitment does not require a coherent grievance structure. It requires only a generalized conviction that the existing system is irredeemable and that violence is the appropriate response.

Militant accelerationism, as defined by researchers at King’s College London’s International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation, is “a set of tactics and strategies designed to put pressure on and exacerbate latent social divisions, often through violence, thus hastening societal collapse.” Its ideological nucleus is neofascist and white supremacist, but its recruitment surface is deliberately wide. The goal of the violence is not simply to kill; it is to provoke a response from authorities that will radicalize bystanders, ignite racial conflict, and collapse the social order.

On May 18, Caleb Vazquez, 18, and Cain Clark, 17, shot up the Islamic Center of San Diego, killing three men before dying from self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Their manifesto was titled “The New Crusade: Sons of Tarrant.” Vazquez had been flagged in January 2025 for online behavior that included idolizing mass shooters; authorities confiscated 26 firearms from his father’s home. He found weapons anyway. The Freedom 250 plotters and the San Diego killers are not organizationally connected, as far as current evidence shows. They are, however, ideologically continuous, two data points suggesting an accelerationist moment rather than two isolated incidents.

This alleged White House attack is so predictable following false flags at Butler and the White House Correspondent Dinner. Didn't take long for Trump to make the pitch for the taxpayers Ballroom saying "proves exactly why the East Wing Modernization Project is severely needed for large scale events". Added that the ballroom project was "inextricably tied" to presidential security and other security assets including drone ports on the roof and a hospital in the basement. If you believe the UFC attack, I got a bridge to sell. This administration is nothing but a lying, deceiving and grifting cabal.

Prosecutors further allege that a second group of attackers planned to advance on the White House gates.

The event drew around 4,300 invited guests, while an estimated 85,000 people watched from a nearby fan zone. Fourteen mixed martial arts fighters competed in a series of bouts as part of celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Investigation Began With Family Warning

Investigators say the case came to light after Proper's mother contacted local authorities on 10 June, expressing concern about her son's firearms purchases and online communications.

Prosecutors said Proper, 19, had been interacting with an online group that expressed anti-government and religious extremist views.

During an FBI interview on 11 June, Proper allegedly admitted involvement in planning the attack. Authorities say members of the group first communicated through a TikTok chat called "Vanguard of the Old" before moving some discussions to the encrypted messaging app Signal.

Motives Detailed in Court Documents

According to court filings, participants discussed launching a revolution by attacking wealthy individuals and politicians attending the event.

Prosecutors said conversations included grievances about government corruption, the handling of the Epstein files, data centres and other government policies.

Proper has been charged with conspiracy to commit an offence against the United States and attempted murder of a federal officer. His lawyer has not publicly commented.

Officials Cite Growing Security Concerns

FBI Director Kash Patel said the alleged attack plans had been stopped through a multi-state operation.

Secret Service Deputy Director Matt Quinn later described the case as a serious threat but declined to discuss details while the investigation remains active.

Asked about the alleged plot during the G7 summit in France, President Donald Trump said he had not been briefed on the matter. Vice-President JD Vance told Fox News that the public was being informed because of the scale of the alleged plan.

The arrests come amid growing concern over political violence in the United States. Researchers have reported a rise in targeted political attacks in recent years, while experts warn that such incidents can contribute to further cycles of violence.
