Well 'Binnsy' (Roger) and Dow tied the knot this morning Issan Style:

The event was over two days 23rd 24 th April 2007;

First lets have apic of the Happy Couple

Well on the 22nd April Binnsy arrived with his family and friends from Bkk by weay of two minbuses loaded withb relatives, who had flown with him from the Uk to Thailand to celebrate his Wedding:

The party consisted of his mum and Dad uncles and Aunts and mates to name a few.

Of course all the preperations had been taking place days or weeks before the arrival of Bride and Groom food to be ordered three pigs killed to feed the minions booze costumes entertainment to be booked etc etc.

Well I arrived with my wife on the evening of 23rd in company with Andylee and his wife: greeted by Robert (Diablo-Bob) so now that Three Thai visa members there.

The paqrty was already in full swing, sometime later 'Binnsy arrived with his bride to be 'Dow' so naow thats four THai visa members all in one littel Issan village.

Photos sessions were now under way I was introduced to the Family (I must say a real friendly bunch they were as well)

Then after drinking some beer The family were up on the stage for the Grooms speech, now I knew what he was talking about Diabl-bob's wife bless her 'Sow' (Who is The Brides sister) so that means Binnsy and Diablo are now related having married the sisters 'Sow' and 'Dow' mmmmmmmmm was bust translating the speech into some sort of thai.

THen on came the singers and dancers, the party was on and everyone weas enjoying themselves.

Well about 2130 hrs the wife and I left because of our little daughter being tired.

The next morning I was out the house by 0730 hrs picked Andy up and we went to the village for The Marriage Ceremony:

Arrived at village about 0820 hrs :

Binnsy was ushered away from the Brides home as he had to parade to the house later on and pass through two gates giving kids money to get through then there was the ring ceremony, then into the house for the blessing also gathered were Binssy mum and Dad and a host of others, then the Blessing and chanting etc.

Well then it was all over ( I do have to mention that it was delayed for about 1 hour from the Start because Binnsy had left the 'Sinsod' that means dowry at the Thepnakhorn Hotel, so that had to be collected) hahahaha.

Well I have had to make a Wedding Album in theMembers Gallery of all the pics I took for Binnsy and Dow and the Family ect.

Lastly before I add the link I would like to wish Binnsy and Dow all the luck and best wishes for there future together.

The curent state is that the appeal was turned down but i have asked for a review and some top wig has granted this They sent me a form AIT 45 which i sent back stating my reasons which are mainly on the grounds that My wife never signed the letter, nor did the ECO and it was also not translated. But i think a major mistake is that we have until this day never ever recieved the alledged the BUNDLE and what this consists of i have no idea.Any way this chief judge has granted a review at Breans Buildings,London on 26th June.

If this fails then we will apply for a 6 month holiday visa as long as they dont hold it against us having been refused a settlement visa.Views please

Not sure how your case was in the first plce, but the fact that a settlement visa has been refused in the first place may cause questions. Why would you not do another settlement and address the issues the ECO had on the first?

What is the process you used for the review? Would it normally not be an appeal on the appeal which would go to the high court?

Just a thought

'Binnsy' & Dau. Congratulations on your wedding. Amused that you are a 'Tractor Boy' as I am a chirpy 'Canary' even though lived near Woodbridge before coming out here. Good luck with your appeal but, if unsuccessful, hope to meet you out here.

Good area as I have been very happily married to a Surin girl (nr. Sangkha) for over 3 years. We have built a bungalow as my wife says it will save her having to carry me upstairs when I get older!! At present we spent most of our time in Bangkok as her 11 year old son is at school here but antiscipate moving fully to Surin in early 2009. At present bungalow used for holidays and weekend trips to inspect rubber farm we are developing.

We were over in England 'doing' the family in April - WOW what wonderful weather!! and I am over again in Suffolk in July for my younger daughter's wedding!

Macb. have read a lot about your thoughts in Isaan Forum!! Maybe will meet up sometime at Farang Connection although not been there yet as NOT getting a pick-up until we move there more permanently so at present rarely in Surin itself. I know there is a golf course there but do any farang play? I am erratic but find the game very relaxing!

Good luck to you all.

Anthony.
