Hi there,

My Wife's PC (winxp) gives this errormessage on startup "c:\windows\system32\killvbs.vbs" furthermore it gives "http:/// " when opening IE 6 .

Any idea what is the Problem and how to resolve it?

Thanks ,

I did a quick google and it seems a right so and so to remove http://www.bullguard.com/forum/10/Browser-...http_46963.html

I had a similar thing a while back (7FaSSt), despite help from the Spybot forum I couldn't, and still can't, get rid of it. At least the guy in the link managed to sort the problem out.

By the way I'm very far from an expert, I hope some of the proper experts on TV come forward to help you, after that perhaps they can help me with 7FaSSt?

That guy at bullguard actually did a pretty good job of dealing with it. Disable autorun on all your Windows machines and reformat all your thumbdrives. That's where these nasty scripts come from.
