The JAS39 E/F records RCS of all other aircrafts that they engage and shares it constantly with the rest of the squadron. It is also stored in the aircraft memory among the other RCS received for future use. Also, AFAIK, JAS39 is the only modern fighter jet that doesn't have to rely on an AWAC to guide it to its targets. The whole squadron interlinks and shares the sensor data. -

The suspect, 32-year-old Jaruwan Jaifai, was apprehended at her family home after confessing to the brutal attack on 62-year-old Meena Pattatha. Meena sustained over ten stab wounds and tragically succumbed to her injuries in hospital. Initially, Jaruwan was reticent, telling reporters she was "too sleepy" to discuss her motive. However, she later disclosed that her actions stemmed from anger over an incident on 18 August. While at the restaurant alone, she drank heavily, and a male customer allegedly led her outside and assaulted her. Jaruwan accused Meena of permitting the man to lead her away. An employee from the restaurant clarified that Meena had offered Jaruwan a place to rest in her son’s vacant room, an offer Jaruwan declined. The employee stated that Meena had asked the man to let Jaruwan stay, but he insisted on taking her elsewhere. This devastating incident has left Meena’s family shattered. Her 22-year-old son, Private Nirat Kongtoom, serving at the border in Surin, received a ten-day leave to attend his mother’s funeral. Nirat was visibly distressed as he grieved with his family, expressing a profound sense of loss. Speaking with local reporters, Nirat shared that his mother had always supported him. He reminisced about their time together and shared the hopes she had for him to enter monkhood. Nirat posted an emotional farewell on Facebook, vowing to honour her memory. The man involved in the initial incident has been questioned, admitting to sexual activity with Jaruwan, though further details remain undisclosed. Legal proceedings against Jaruwan are underway, though specific charges are yet to be publicly detailed. This tragic case has stirred discussions about responsibility, violence, and the consequences of unchecked anger. As the community comes to grips with the loss of a respected local, they rally around the grieving family, seeking justice and solace in a time of profound sorrow. Accident Student Killed, Several Injured in Ambulance Collision
UPDATE Two Dead and 13 Injured After Ambulance Runs Red Light in Rayong Picture from responders. It has now been confirmed that two students died and 13 others were injured after a ambulance ran a red light and collided with a hatchback car, at an intersection in Ban Chang district, Rayong province. Security camera footage captured the ambulance speeding through the red light while en route to assist victims of a crash at another intersection. The blue hatchback was also approaching the junction at high speed. The driver, focusing on the green light, did not see the ambulance or hear its siren, resulting in a collision. The impact caused the ambulance to spin out of control and roll over onto a group of motorcycles waiting at the red light. Most of the victims were students and their guardians returning home from school. Among them were a mother and her five-year-old son, both seriously injured, the boy later died in hospital. An 17-year-old student, who would have turned 18 on 22 August, also succumbed to severe head trauma sustained in the crash. Thirteen others, including young children, sustained injuries ranging from cuts to abrasions. Authorities confirmed that all were now in stable condition. The crash has sparked an online debate over whether emergency vehicles should be allowed to run red lights. Some supported the rescue team, noting that the siren was active, while others argued that drivers cannot always determine the direction of approaching emergency vehicles and that caution is necessary at intersections. The driver of the ambulance faces four charges: • Section 291 of the Criminal Law: committing a reckless act causing death (penalty: up to 10 years’ imprisonment, a fine of up to 200,000 baht, or both). • Section 300 of the Criminal Law: committing a reckless act causing serious injury (penalty: up to three years’ imprisonment, a fine of up to 60,000 baht, or both). • Section 22 of the Land Transport Act: running a red light (penalty: fine of up to 1,000 baht). • Section 64 of the Vehicle Act: driving a public transport vehicle without a Category 2 licence (penalty: up to one month in prison and a fine of up to 1,000 baht).
