October 5, 200718 yr There is a very good place in Koa San road, plus many crap ones, they do very good free hand, i've bought 7 tattoo's there over the last 2 years and very happy with results, none on me though, for family. YMK half way down in a arcade on the left, is VERY good.

I got mine done by Nuu at Dragon Tattoo's in Seacom Mall just outside the city centre. He won Mr Bangkok Tattoo in 05 for his dragon work. He specialises in big pieces and never does the same one twice. I had a large dragon on my stomach which took seven hours. For a first tattoo I would NOT recommend the stomach as it is very painful. If you go there make sure you take a Thai speaker as Nuu does not speak English.
October 5, 200718 yr Christ tattoos hurt. Anywhere on your torso is going to be painful. It feels almost as good as sex when they move from the outline to shading.
October 5, 200718 yr Weho says that anyone with a tattoo might as well hang a sign around their neck that says, "I'm stupid". From reading about the pain that these things cause, I'm starting to wonder if he is right.
October 5, 200718 yr The Dude's advice is to think long and hard before taking the tattoo plunge. What happens if you regret it later and want it outta there?

I bet he also says that anyone who makes sweeping generalisations about people based on one thing are also stupid!!
