Sort of life I could live. 2 flats back home and their family house rented out. Most probably have a good education themselves and maybe family backing. The kids are small. Traveling opens their minds and I’m sure they get a bit of hone schooling. Saw a documentary not long back. Two different families bought yachts to sail around the world with their kids. They had a very interesting and wonderful life . These were separate stories and each family had success in life. These kids loved it, an hour or two a day with mum or dad , they cold read , write, knew geography, the oceans, diving and swimming in coral seas, a dream. I think it’s not suited to most people, but many are adventurous and need that life. I was similar, but left at barely 17 , worked my way around , leant 4 languages fluently, travelled India, Ceylon, Bali and all over Indonesia, Thailand , Borneo Australia. Eventually starting a business adventure back home which was a succès for 40 years, and allowing me to travel through South America, Japan , and back to Thailand as a base. Adventure is in my blood and I’m not stopping until I can’t . My parents just told me the dangers, to be careful, and to enjoy, with full blessing sent me on my way. I wouldn’t have wanted any other life. I don’t have kids and don’t miss that, and it was my choice.
