as the title says. All relatively painless in the end. The embassy officer only looked at my sponsor letter didn't bother checking the rest of the file by all accounts. Asked three questions, whats his name, how long you know him and what did you do in Koh samui (she answered go-go bar). Didn't check her reasons for return.......so thanks are due to all the contributors to the site who have fleshed out the official immigration notes with tales of real life experience and scouser for answering my remaining queries. invaluable, cheers!

now now lads behave! nothing so exciting im afraid, just reverse psychology in action.....mind you the agreed line was bar girl.........hmm maybe i should find out more about her past when she arrives. anyone know a dance pole retailer :o

Congrats, Villan, hope she enjoys the visit.

I hope you don't mind me saying that this shows the assertion from some posters that bargirls wont get a visa is untrue.

Nice one - congrats.

My GF had a similar experience - she was absolutely shi**ing herself at the prospect of being interviewed but, in the end, she was only asked about three questions, similar to those that they asked your GF. I think that, if all your paperwork is in order and you have provided sufficient evidence, the EO would find it difficult to refuse the application - unless you catch them on a bad day of course.
