Excellent deal - pity we can't buy at these sort of prices, flying the other way, BKK-LON-BKK :o

Eva Air are doing the same deal but their brand new 777 aircraft are far superior to the tired old jumbo's Thai are using.Just had to pay 41500 baht for a flight with Eva Bkk-LHR for my girlfriend thats over £200 more flying east west!!!

Travelocity have got Air France LHR-BKK (50 mins change of plane at Paris-CDG) until late June for £256.............. never seen it that low before.

Just checked it again (using the "My dates are flexible" option) and it does say £256 return but - I just tried a test booking and the taxes etc take it to £388.80 :o

Round-Trip Price: GBP 256.00+

Air France

offers connecting service Advance Purchase: See Rules

Earliest Travel: 01May06

Latest Travel: 30Jun06

Earliest Return: Sunday

Latest Return: 1 months

Talking of one way, I'm looking to do London-BKK in early June and have no firm plans to use the return ticket (I'm moving to LOS for good). From what I've seen, Gulf seems to be the main airline (with offers) that allows up to 12 months between outbound and return flights - and has a set penalty for changing the date. Is that the best option in my case? Or just buy the cheapest return I can get and throw away the return portion? One-way tickets don't seem to offer much of a saving...........

M25 was quite good but the last mile or so (for all who know the score ) from the M4 roundabout (will be shut tonight/overnight for next 2 weeks) was a nightmare....

Only drove last night because my local overhead rail line is doing the all day bus service..... :o and I wanted to get back before the pubs shut..... :D
